What's the deal with free local delivery?
Our online store is now open with a limited selection. Call us and make arrangements – 214-942-6042, or visit our online store. We are expanding our delivery area within Oak Cliff, and we’d love to hear from you.
Please note that some of the information below pertains to our online ordering process, which we will transition to shortly after our move to Tyler Station in mid-February, 2019.
Where do you deliver locally?
We deliver to approved addresses in the following zip codes:
Not all addresses are eligible, please submit an application.
How do I apply?
Once you’ve logged in, you should see your account dashboard. Click the addresses link on the left to set up your billing address and apply for free local delivery.
On the edit address screen, provide the information for your Billing Address by clicking the ‘edit’ link.
you can always change this when you check out based on your credit card information.
Click the “Apply Now” button under Delivery Address on your account page, and fill out the information on the apllication screen.
When you submit your application, we get an email letting us know you’ve applied. Your Delivery Address will show that your application is pending.
After we check your address against our delivery area, we’ll let you know the status of your application via email. ( this usually takes 24 – 48 hours, if you need an order right away, please consider ordering for local pickup, and we’ll have your order waiting for you at the shop as soon as possible )
If your delivery address is approved for Green Pet’s Free Local Delivery program, you will see “Local Delivery” as a shipping option on the cart and checkout pages, and your account page will show the approved delivery address.
Is it free?
Yes, it’s free. We know that parking can be challenging at the shop, so we provide this service for free to our local customers that have an approved delivery address in their account profile.
When do you deliver?
At this time we deliver Monday through Friday. The delivery window is generally between 2:30 pm and 7:00 pm on delivery days. Orders placed before the daily cutoff time are eligible for same day delivery. The next available delivery window will be shown on the checkout page when you choose “Local Delivery” as your shipping option.
*We cannot guarantee same day delivery in every case, but if we can’t make it the same day, we’ll let you know upon receipt of your order.
**Please order for delivery before you are out of your pet’s food. If it’s urgent, please come by the shop in person. We can have your order pulled for you if you order online and choose “Local Pickup” as your shipping option.
Can I change my delivery address?
You cannot change your own delivery address, because all delivery addresses must be approved. If you need to change your delivery address, or if you’d like to apply for a different address than the one you originally submitted, please Contact Us.
Can I have more than one delivery address?
No, not at this time, but we welcome your feedback. Please Contact Us with your comments or suggestions.
